Le rendez-vous des dirigeants de l'économie sociale
The Mont Blanc Meetings bring together leaders of the social economy from around the world with the aim of developing international projects and helping to build a stronger social economy.
While there are many national forums for leaders from the social economy, their purpose is often to focus on specific or topical issues or develop common policy positions. They are also aimed at people working in the same or similar part of the social economy. International organizations exist, but these are also set up by organizational form (e.g., cooperatives, mutual societies, NGOs, etc.).
The Meetings were founded on the initiative of five CEOs of French companies in the social economy, who were joined later on by other organizations representatives.
